I have weekly 3 course set menus (selected from below) displayed in the Bar area. However, should you have any special requests or dietary requirements please tell me as there is not point me cooking you something you can't eat or won't eat!!!

MAIN COURSES

Crofter’s Pie – diced gammon steak with apple, spring onion and potato with short crust pastry Pan fried chicken breast with tomato, olive and basil sauce Devonshire “squab” Pie – traditional lamb pie with spicy, fruity flavours topped with puff pastry. Sticky maple pork with apple Fish Dish Diced chicken breast, bacon and red kidney bean casserole Gammon steak with cider and mustard Chicken, broccoli, white wine sauce en croute with mango and pineapple sauce Grilled Devon lamb steak marinated in lemon and garlic served with beetroot and tzatzik Beef goulash with red and green peppers “Jamaican” chicken – strips of chicken breast drizzled with juices of lime, garlic, sweet paprika and honey Grilled pork chop with orange “Valencian” sauce Panfried chicken breast with creamy mushroom and sweet paprika sauce Lamb meatballs with baked mixed vegetables Beef in red wine with Marmite crust Turkey and apricot tagine

Our New Bar

To celebrate Michael's 60th birthday, Doug's 21st and that we will have been at the Harrabeer for 10 years in June we decided to take the hammer to the bar, gut it and take it back to its roots as far as was sensible. Wow! We had taken most of the room back a couple of centuries at least!

Now to put it back together!

New Bar

Doug and Oggie worked together famously serenading each other most of the day with silly songs, drinking dozens of mugs of tea and consuming matching numbers of bacon sandwiches! Having the plumbing and plastering skills, Doug was put to the test on his first major project whilst Oggie was extreme backup and having to mix huge amounts of render and plaster trying to keep up with his brother's insatiable appetite for "more pug".

All is now completed and we think the results have been stunning. We hope you will too and look forward to welcoming you and enjoying a bottled local brewed beer, a single malt whisky or another favourite tipple with you.
